I want to build an online store. I will be selling pet beds(dogs/cats). Approximately 100 products. I want something easy to use but looks great.

I downloaded your Premium Website Builder, not what I had in mind. All of the available templates look like a standard website, not an online store. Don't get me wrong, they are nice templates but they have the look and feel of business sites.....not sales sites.

Help me out, do I want WordPress and an added shopping cart or something like OpenCart. I have used WordPress in the past to build blogs......but it's been awhile.

Never used OpenCart. Get me started will ya?

So...help me out

Hello simonbk, and thanks for your question.

The Premium Website Builder does have an eShop module which allows you to create a more "store" like site, but if that doesn't fit your needs then you would want to look into some of the other software that you can install on the server as well.

You can follow the instructions in the following guide for installing applications automatically via Softaculous:

How to install software with Softaculous

As far as what would work best for you, that's all going to be about personal preference. There is software that is specifically for making an eCommerce site such as OpenCart or PrestaShop, or any other content management system like WordPress or Joomla can be used to build up a store site as well. I would recommend possibly taking a look at each and seeing what best fits your needs.

You can take a look at some of our education channels on some of these applications as well:

OpenCart Education Channel
PrestaShop Education Channel
WordPress Education Channel
Joomla 3.0 Education Channel

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.
