Hello Arunnaidu, The only way that you are going to be able to assign the IP is to create an A record for the subdomain going to that address. This is usually done in the Cpanel with accessed to the Advanced DNS editor, but this is typically only available on Dedicated/VPS server accounts. As it appears you are on a Business class account, you will need to submit a ticket by emailing support@inmotionhosting.com making this request. Be aware that the IP address must be an IP accessible via the internet (not an internal network IP such as those that start with 192). If you're unsure of the IP address, then you will need to speak with your network administrator. This is not a recommended practice as it is a security risk (you're allowing access to a system inside your network from computers outside of your network firewall). If you send the ticket for the request to assign the IP address, you will need to provide verification of the account using the last 4 digits of the credit card on the account or the Account Management Panel (AMP) password. You will also need to provide the subdomain name and the IP address. If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Regards, Arnel C. |
