No alexa ranking

I have hosted a website 5 months back. Not yet I am not able to see alexa ranking and also google is not indexing frequently. Please let me know the reason.

Hello w3kids, Search engine ranking is a fluid thing, meaning that your ranking can fluctuate up and down depending on many variables. Google never releases what they specifically use to rank pages, so it is very trial and error as you try to gain ranking and index placement with them. As things change constantly with Google it is very much an ongoing task to gain and maintain indexing and ranking. One thing that can help quite a bit is membership in Google Webmaster tools As for Alexa, we have no official knowledge on how they rank sites. I do know that the majority of their stats are collected from people using their toolbar, but I cannot say how that may affect your specific site or ranking. I hope this helps answer your question.
