I want to insert a google analytics tracking code into my landing page which is a simple "under construction" page. How can i easily do it. Google has provided me with the HTML language. I am not html savy. I simply want to know how many people are looking at this page.

It really depends on how your site is built. If it is just static HTML, you may place it directly within the page code. If using a CMS like WordPress, there are several plugins such as the newly available Google Publisher Plugin.
