Server Time
Category: General Server Setup
Hi,
Did you server time get "out of sync" lately?
I am using time() php function to get server time in order to set expiration time for Amazon S3 requests. Out of the blue, I started getting request expired errors from Amazon. So it is either InMotion Hosting server got out of sync or it is amazon server.
So I just thought I'd check.
Regards,
Mahmoud

Hi Mahmoud, Thanks for posting your question. I'm sorry your having trouble with time syncing on your account. I'm more than happy to assist you. I'm not aware of any issue with the server regarding the time function. However, it could be related to the recent daylight savings time change. We're happy to look into this for you further however, I'll need the exact error message you are getting. If you can give me the steps to replicate the error as well, that will be helpful. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |
