Hi there, just wondering how I would upgrade phpMyAdmin on VPS hosting. I don't see any where to upload it to via ftp, and its already installed I can access it from cPanel. No big deal or anything phpma is just telling me there is a newer version.

Thanks!

Hi Derokorian,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. The easiest way to update PHPMyAdmin is to log into your VPS WHM as root. If you do not have root you will need to send in a support request to update it to: support@inmotionhosting.com

If you send support an email, be sure to include your current AMP password or the last four digits of the credit card on file for security purposes.

If you have root, you can log into WHM and go to Main >> cPanel >> Upgrade to Latest Version

This will handle most of the updates for WHM and cPanel and make sure you are up to date.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thanks!

Tim S
