Ok so I am new to this and am probably doing something wrong. I have purchased my domain and have Inmotion Hosting, hosting it. I went to the cpanel and installed Word Press. It says that to access it I just need to add /wp-admin to my domain name, but when I do, nothing happens.
my domain is thesharperblade.com
I typed in thesharperblade.com/wp-admin
Please help!

Hello TheBladeRunner,

Thank you for your question. I looked up your domain's Whois information, and it is not registered with us.

You will need to point to our Nameservers for your site to resolve to our servers.

Also, keep in mind that anytime you modify DNS (such as nameservers) it can take up to 24 hours to propagate.

However, you can work on Wordpress on your Temp URL in the meantime.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul

I went the Whois and was able to look up myself just fine. So I am confused. The site is already set to your nameservers, I checked. When I am at the AMP home, it shows my domain as thesharperblade.com but when I go to manage domain it says "You do not have any domains to manage." Am i missing something?

I just did notice that at the Whois it has the name servers as domaindiscovery, which is where I purchased the domain, but once again at the AMP it has inmotionhosting.

Hello The BladeRunner,

Apologies for the confusion with the domain. If the domain is not controlled by us, then we cannot make any changes to it. And in this case the domain is not pointed to our servers as per WHOIS. This is the reason why it says "you do not have any domains to manage". The hosting service will list a domain name, but this doesn't mean the name servers are pointed to us. As you indicated, AMP says you have no domains to manage, therefore, we presently have no control over the domain. As per John Paul's links above, you will need to have the domain name servers changed to point to our hosting service.

I hope this helps to clarify the issue. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
