What is the URL for my add-on domain if it is not pointed to InMotion?
Category: General Information
Cannot locate addon domain, sucessfully installed wordpress on it. Now I cannot find out how to get back to the addon domain to start working on it.
Since I am rebuilding a non-transferable site,I also need to find out the name of my temp site to insert the code to have wordpress work on the temp site.

Hi Ragdoll, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. I've reviewed your account and here's a link to your add-on domain: http://gp-awards.com/www.flyingcolorsclydesdales.com/ The key to understanding add-on domains, is keep in mind that since the folders holding all of its files in the root directory of your primary domain, you can always use the path using the primarydomain/folderforaddondomain. Since your primary domain is gp-awards.com we use that address, and add/www.flyingcolorsclydesdales.com at the end since that's the folder where the add-on domain is. You could use your temp URL as well: http://biz100.inmotionhosting.com/~genera48/www.flyingcolorsclydesdales.com/ In this example, it follows the same general format as the example above. It's your TEMP URL for the primary domain and then the folder that contains the add-on domains files. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |
