I've generated my sitemap but cannot find the proper root folder. Google is asking for http://thehrdifference.com/Sitemap. Using the File Manager, I cannot find any folder that is specifically named as described above. I tried placing the sitemap in the public.html folder with no results.

Thank you for our question BobMendonsa!

When you upload a Google sitemap, you simply name the sitemap "sitemap.xml" and place it in the document root folder of your domain. For the main domain, you upload it to the "public_html" folder. Please see the following link on What is a XML sitemap and how do I create one?.

Once you upload the sitemape.xml to your public_html for your main domain, you can visit the file in the browser to see it load by visiting your website like the following:

http:your-domain.com/sitemap.xml

Supplement your-domain.com with your domain.

Best Regards,
James R
