Issues with ftp

So, I've followed the instructions and have successfully connected to my ftp with filezilla, the problem I'm running into, it shows me nothing. According to my ftp view, there is nothing on the other end, I uploaded a file to the ftp. I cannot find a way to access it in the cpanel directory of for my site at all. It almost seems that the ftp site and my website are completely different entities.

Hi crichton101,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. You can use your cPanel username and password as your FTP username and password. IF you provide me with the file name of what you uploaded I'm more than happy to look around to determine where you uploaded.
