When I update a file using ftp service (user and password required), the content of the file accessed using the http interface does not change, until after perhaps 10 minutes. I do not quite understand what is going on but my guess is that the http server caches the content of files. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Hello Bo Peng,

The web server is not caching, it's happening on your internet browser. You can clear you browser cache and when you reload the page you should see the change show.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

I did clear all cache (chrome -> history -> clear browsing data -> clear browsing history, download history, empty the cache), but the file content did not change. If I can chat instantly with you, I can modify a file and let you access it and see what version of file you get.

Bo Peng,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the caching issue. Again, the Apahe web server that is used on your webserver is not caching your website so that you cannot see a change made to your website. If you want to speak with a live technical support agent through chat, there is a link at the bottom of this page. This will link you directly with live technical support available 24/7. In order to work with our tech support staff, you do need to provide verification of an account - they verify with the last 4 digits of the credit card or the AMP password.

Regards,
Arnel C.
