How to create a ftp.mydomain.com

I created a ftp account and the folder location is under public_ftp. When I try to do a ftp.mydomain.com from browser it didn't pop up instead it reports an error. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Jgehlot,

The FTP system on our servers do not work that way. When you use FTP, it's going straight to the PUBLIC_HTML folder. I'll give you an article on Getting Started with FTP at the end of this response. It has all of the information you will need to set for FTP. The main FTP account is based on your Cpanel credentials. Otherwise, if you create a NEW ftp account, it will always be based on an email address but use the domain name (you can create FTP accounts in Cpanel). Here is the article I was referring:
