How can I use FTP?

I am trying to figure out what my repositor path to download my files so i can up load my new files.
I can connect but can't get access to open my files.

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Are you referring to FTP? You can use your cPanel username and password for FTP access. All your files will need to be uploaded to the public_html folder. This is referred to as your web root. Here's our getting started guide on FTP:
