ftp question

i am coming from another hosting provider. the "root" directory was htdocs. what is the equivelant of htdocs in a new inmotion hosting account? i know the main directory is "www" or "public html". looking to move my site asap, but not sure where to put the files. thank you

Hi jimmy,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. You are correct the "root" directory is your public_html folder. You can place all the files for your domain there. The "www" directory is a symlink to the public_html folder so it will display the exact contents of the public_html folder.
