I'm trying to set up box trapper on a couple of my e-mail addresses. When I log on to cpanel and go to box trapper then select manage next to the e-mail address I'm trying to work with.

Next I go to "edit white/black/ignore" then select any of the three ( white list, blacklist , or ignore list) I get the message "server not able to find document"

Thank you for your question dmr139!

We logged in your cpanel to replicate the problem and we did could not produce the same error. There may be something in the browser that cached a bad url. Try clearing your browser cache to see if it resolves the problem or try using a different browser.

How to clear your browser's cache

Best regards!

This is an issue. I am an inmotionhosting customer as well. I have the same problem. I contacted inmotionhosting support and got the same answer. I cannot get BoxTrapper to work on anything. I have tried it on 5 different computers, 2 tablets, and 3 phones. They all say page cannot be displayed. There is no way this is a browser cache issue.

I just emailed support and asked if they would contact me so I can let them remotely connect to my computer so I can show them. I'd like them to let me see it working on their computer too if possible. Because I have no idea why it works for inmotionhostin and not for the clients. There is certainly an issue and it needs to be resolved. Not tossed to the side and blamed on the clients computer. Because it is not an issue with the clients computer.

Hello ProfessorCPU,

Apologies for the issues, but I also tested and was unable to find any problem with Boxtrapper. If you want to see it working login to your cpanel, go to the TEST email account and change the password. Then login to it with the Webmail option. You can see the messages that have been sent to it. I also forwarded the typical message sent when Boxtrapper is working. This shows that Boxtrapper is working.

Just to summarize, Boxtrapper (when enabled) automatically sends an email to the person who emailed that account. In the verification email, there is a LINK, that the user must click in order verify. Once they are verified, then the email is delivered. Otherwise, it will be refused. If an emailer is already on the whitelist, then boxtrapper will not activate (and send a verification email).

You have been saying that a "page cannot be displayed" - we need better information on the error message that you're seeing. I'm sorry that we don't have any direct way to view your computer (please email manager_feedback@inmotion.net to suggest this option), but we currently have no way to do this. If you can provide more information such as an error message or more information to duplicate the error then we can investigate the issue. Currently, we cannot duplicate the problem. Remember that the Boxtrapper option can only be used when its enabled for the specific email account. For more information, please check out fighting spam with Box Trapper.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.

Regards,

Arnel C.
