Why is Yahoo mail saying my domain has no DNS records?
Category: Email Troubleshooting
Hi there. I just set up my new server with email accounts. I can email out from the account, but cannot receive any emails from outside the domain INTO my unit. I got an error message from my yahoo account saying the above. I don't see any help files that discuss this issue really. Please advise

Hi miketseng, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Your domain is not pointed to your hosting account with InMotion Hosting. I see while looking over your account that the domain was successfully transferred to your InMotion account, however, it looks like you did not update the domain's nameservers. Once you update the nameservers and wait for propagation to occur (which can take up to 24 hours), the issue should be corrected. Since the domain is managed with InMotion now, you can update your nameservers in AMP. Here's our article on how to update your nameservers: Updating your NameServers How to change your Domain's nameservers in AMP If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks!
