Why do emails I send go to their junk folder?
Category: Email Troubleshooting
Hi, I tried searching for an answer in the Community support but I couldn't find it.
My problem is, that most of the emails I sent (if not ALL) goes to junk mail. I never sent many emails to unknown addresses, never did any activity that could be considered SPAM. Still, many people don't get my emails, and when I send them to myself to gmail or hotmail etc., they go to the Junk Mail folder.
My question is, is there any way I can avoid this?
I checked the words in the subject and message, but there are no phrases that could be considered as "spam triggers".
By the way, the emails are sent in Spanish to people in South American Countries. I say this in case is useful for my case.
Thank you very much for your time and reply.
Kind regards,
Diego.

Hi Diegoczltd, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. There's nothing you can do to prevent the emails from being marked as Spam by the receiving server. The people can attempt to whitelist your email address but this varies by email provider on how to do this. You can set up SPF records, in an effort to ensure that you're server is the only one sending emails as your domain. This can strengthen your chances of not being labeled as spam. Here's an article on SPF records. SPF Records and Domain Keys If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S. |
