My POP3 email account get duplicates in the email client? How do I fix this?

Our email accounts are suddenly receiving multiple copies of email messages. Nothing has changed on our side. Any ideas why messages left on server would continue to be downloaded as "new"?
Currently using Eudora 7.1.0.9 and none of the accounts are being forwarded.
Update: 12-12-11
After almost two weeks of duplicates, no duplicates on the accounts today. We did not change anything which is why we thought something may have been going on with the IMH server. I will wait a couple of days to see if we are really back to normal.

Hi RickP, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Typically, this error is caused by the email client software you are using. Are you using a specific email client?
