Hello john4u,

I am unable to locate your specific account for review, so I cannot speak specifically to your situation. I am not sure what module you have installed nor how its permissions are set to whether they can interact with blogs. This is important information for how your modules will interact with each other or if the community module has a blog feature.

If you can give the names of the modules you are using, I would be happy to test and see if it is possible.

Best Regards,
Scott M

hi scott,

Earlier i used OG for the community and we changed by using Content type and created Community , now we are able to create community and we are not able to link blog for it (ie., a community with "sample" for that we need to create blog entry for it and the entry should not replicated for other community ?

Hello John4u,

Apologies for the time it took get you a reply on this issue. It's a tough one because it's a module add-on and finding any type of documentation on the issue was problematic. Anything that I found appears to be several years old and probably does not apply. I did find very good article on using and assigning Organic Groups, but again there is no mention of assigning to blogs. It could be just that you need to use the existing functionality of Organic groups and manage the permissions so that they access only what you permit them to access. Make sure that you have also enabled blogs modules section. The following article details using organic groups.

I hope this helps to clear up the issue. If you require any further assistance, please let us know.

Arnel C.
