Add On Domain Third Party Login
Category: Domain Names
Is is possible to give a third party permission to log into an add on domain?
i.e. I have mydomain.com, but also have several add on domains. I want to give 'Dave' permission to get into addondomain1.com, an add on domain associated with mydomain.com. I only want to give Dave permission to get into 'his' section (addondomain1.com).
Is that possible? If so, how do I do it? I've searched around inmotions's site but couldn't find anything.
Thanks,
Linda

Hi Linda, The cPanel software only has 1 username and password, so you wouldn't be able to allow Dave permission to log into cPanel and only see certain features. However, if Dave only needs to have access to the files within the addon domain, you can easily accomplish this. For further help with this, please see: Using FTP with your Addon domain I believe that article should help you with your question. If by chance it doesn't (or if you have any follow up questions), feel free to post a comment at the bottom of this page and I'll be happy to help further. Thanks! - Brad |
