I know this question is probably asked a lot, but I can't figure out why my Wordpress site won't work after migrating it from my local, development server. I followed the instructions from inmotionhosting about migrating your site and the steps to take. I created a new db, user, pw and updated my wp-config.php file. Still, I receive this error. Help!

Hello accessgroup,

The error was a capitalization issue in the database name in the wp-config.php file. It had an upper case 'DB' and the database name on the server has a lowercase 'db'. I changed it to all lowercase to match the database name on the server and it now can connect properly.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
