Where are the MySQL logs?
Category: Databases
Where are the MySQL logs on the VPS1000? I had to restart the MySQL server when I tried to login to my Wordpress install and found the server down.
I need to look in the logs to see if I can find out why the server was down.

Hello Javis, You would find the logs by getting into SSH as root, then viewing the log at: /var/lib/mysql/hostname.err Some VPS's use the domain name in place of "hostname"(.err). Otherwise, it would be your vps#.inmotionhosting.com.err You can also look at a MySQL process list (if something's running) in your WHM under SQL services. If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Regards, Arnel C. |
