Hello rbender!

You can use <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/databases/creating-importing-and-exporting-mysql-databases" target="_blank">PhpMyAdmin</a> to <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/databases/import-database-using-phpmyadmin" target="_blank">import</a> and <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/databases/export-database-using-phpmyadmin" target="_blank">export</a> your databases. This is the easiest and preferred method because you maintain the database backup on your local computer.

Hello Rbender,

You can backup the databases in cPanel and you can also import databases using phpMyAdmin. Check out those links for details on the process to accomplish each task.

Let us know if you require any further assistance!
