Using Wordpress Database Backup plugin

Can I use Wordpress Database Backup plugin for database backups? I realize I would probably still need to do another backup for the files in public_htm.

Hi LauraE,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. You can absolutely use a plugin to backup your database in WordPress. We suggest running regular backups for your website. You are correct, you'll still need to backup the files in your public_html folder. I suggest storing the backups on your local computer. That way, you have a copy that's not on the server.
