Hello prasannak,

I am happy to assist you with your database connection issue. We would need a bit more information so, we may be of better service. Please comment below and include any steps to duplicate the error, even such simple ones as "when visiting the first page of the site you will see it". Also, the URL of the site. Finally, and most importantly, the exact text of the error message you are getting.

I have a quick article here to assist you with a quick test. Database connection error

Best Regards,

the link we are visiting is www.baustein.ca/unirope-wp/

The error message we're seeing is:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/bauste5/public_html/unirope-wp/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1141
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Hello prasannak,

I checked the server logs and see only one instance that may have caused the database engine to be a little unresponsive. That was for less than two minutes, however. The rest of the time it actually has a very low load. Please let us know if you have any other issues with it. I am happy it is running fine currently, however.

Best Regards,
Scott M

Okay it seems to be working again. And cpanel now works, is there an issue on the server?
