Permissions for Database user
Category: Databases
I don't see a way, on a VPS server, to set database user permissions. I'm used to having full admin privs and I do understand I can't have that on a shared server. But can I not restrict the privs of a user to RUD, and give the 'admin' (me) **all** privileges? I mean, that's pretty standard practice in database security.

Hello kleeh, Thank you for your question. The database permission settings are accessible on shared and VPS servers. In cPanel, under the Databases section, click the MySQL Databases button. Under the Current Databases section, you will see each database and the users associated with it. Click the username to modify the privileges.
