I've set up proper permissions, I've placed the names and password in the proper locations, but OpenCart will not let me connect to my one and only database. I've tried live chat with customer support, but they couldn't figure it out. Please help, I need to get my business up as soon as possible.
What is the full and exact error message you are receiving?
How can we replicate the problem? What is the URL to the page with the issue?
Sorry for the trouble setting up your Open Cart. I'm not sure why tech support was unable to help. Sorry for that. I was able to successfully install the software manually. I had to remove the <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/databases/create-db-user">database users</a> and re-add it with full permissions. You will receive an email with your login.
James, the article you linked to with "remove the database users" does not seem to have any information on how to remove access to databases from individual users. I'm confused now...

Not sure why the password did not work. The Install when through fine for me. The Database user was not added correctly earlier causing the install problem.
