Hi YeOldeMaille, I did want to add a little more detail to my last response. MySQL is not like Microsoft Access where the database is actually a file you can access. MySQL is not accessible via FTP or file manager in cPanel. cPanel does provide you the option of using phpMyAdmin to access the databases though. I hope this helps! If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |

Hi YeOldeMaille, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. I need you to clarify your question a bit more for me. Are you setting up forms on the website and want them to post the information to a database? Or are you trying to access the data within the database from say your local computer. Please be more specific with exactly what you are trying to do. Also, if you are getting any error messages or have any URL's to your project they will be helpful as well. Also, here's a link you may find helpful: Setting up a remote MySQL connection If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |
