How do I access my database remotely from another account?
Category: Databases
Hi,
I own two domain names with you: A and B. I have tried to create a script that from A connects to B database.
The script received an error and it is not able to connect and query the database. The credentials obviously were right.
I have spent some time with your Live Chat support without success. He told me to send here an email. If you wish I can provide the chat.
Thanks for your attention and regards.

Hi forwordz, Thanks for posting your questions. I'm more than happy to assist you today. Databases are account specific, not domain specific - so any domain within the cPanel can connect to the database using "localhost". Also, I'll need a bit more information to help you further. What is the URL of the script you are having trouble with? Also, what is the exact error message you are receiving? If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S |
