Hello Mayoheath, If you want to use something at the root directory, then typically the URL to get to that application is based on the primary domain name of your account. In those cases, the directory field is left BLANK. For example, if you want to access the calendar at domain_name.com, then when the installation asks for a directory, you would leave the space empty. If you wanted to access the application at domain_name.com/calendar, then the installation location would be 'calendar'. If you're still confused about the issue, please let us know. Remember that you can always experiment with the Softaculous installation program (Using Softaculous) - so if you install something and don't like the way it installed, you can simply enter Softaculous again and un-install the program with a single click. If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Regards, Arnel C. |
