I have set the A record for ysubzero.com (my domain) to 66.6.44.4 as requested by Tumblr's setting interface.

Tumblr states that my A record is still set to 216.194.169.100.

Have I done this wrong, or do I need to wait 72 hours?

Currently, it is loading Tumblr now.

Will someone please explain what the other things I am seeing in Advanced DNS are?

Never mind. It loaded tumblr for two refreshes, and then it went back to the Web Hosting by InMotion Hosting page. Why is this happening?

I have deleted default.htm and that caused my tumblr to appear. When I refreshed, the tumblr disappeared and it just shows an index. I have saved the HTML for this web page, but I do not think I need it. Again, do I just need to wait?

Hello JohnHolbrook,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the Tumblr site. Typicall, DNS changes such as the A record change may take up to 24 hours to take affect. So, as you state, you may simply need to wait. Give it a day, and then let us know if you're still having the issue. Apologies for the delay!

Regards,
Arnel C.
