Hello Sandro,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the URL. The first thing that I'm seeing is that there appears to have been some substitution in the URL. The URL posted in this question is as follows:

https://%20vps9652.inmotionhosting.com:2083/login/

It should be http://vps9652.inmotionhosting.com:2083 - it will automatically jump to the cPanel login with https. You will need to trust the certificate if you haven't set a service one up for the cpanel (SSL certificates are typically set to a domain name - not the temp URL) . This is typically only done with Root Access to the server.

However, the main problem is definitely the URL - when I set it to http://vps9652.inmotionhosting.com:2083, it is working. Check out the article on logging into cPanel. It briefly discusses using the port#'s 2082 or 2083 when logging in. This method of logging into the cPanel uses the VPS id instead of the primary domain name.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you require further assistance.

thanks Arnel,
I tried that before and I had my ssl certificate warning, I typed into the login window the user and pass and that doesn't work. the server says: cpanel...
then if the
I continue I will be redirected to the standard cpanel login.
once I log in the floating windows will appear asking me for the user and pass. User and pass are correct because the server keep saying Cpanel

I'm little confused!

Hello Sandro,

I'm sorry to hear that the problem continues. Have you tried resetting your cPanel password through AMP? Additionally, when I look up the name you used to register your Support Center login, it is not associated with a VPS account. Can you please provide more information? If you want the issue handled privately, then you will need to call/email/chat with our live technical support team. Note that all information posted here is public.

Apologies for the problems and the delay in getting you an answer. Please provide further information so that we can resolve the issue, or contact our live support team to continue in the matter.
