Dear Inmotion Hosting,

On Friday over live chat our MX host was adjusted by your rep Aarol after he did some troubleshooting. The email started working fine; but after this we started receiving thousands of emails from China on the email account under the domain.

Here is one of 1886 emails that was sent to over the weekend.

Hello Mikesheahan,

I'm sorry to hear about your spam issues. If you find a spam hitting a specific account, it's always possible that the email account is compromised. The first step you need to take is to change the password and see if the issue continues. Also enabled your DKIM Email authentication to help reduce spam. You can also use SpamAssassin to block emails or account level filters to specifically block emails from IP addresses. Here are few articles that may help:
