It's a bit of a long story, so I apologize for the length of this email. What I need is an A record on to point to "" and to have parked to Originally we had pointing via A record to "". Now I've deleted the A record on and created a new one on However, I've been told that is still pointing to "" and that won't function until it stops pointing to it.
Would appreciate your help,

Hello Andrew, and thank you for your question.

Unfortunately requests that come in via our community support like this that deal with modifying account level things, would need to be sent directly to along with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current AMP password for the account for verification purposes.

Also keep in mind when making DNS edits that they can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate over the Internet. You can modify your hosts file locally to force your computer to resolve domains to IPs that you've set right away as well.

Since you are on a VPS server, you can follow our guide on how to use the advanced DNS editor in cPanel to make your own DNS edits.

It looks like the requests you've made here, have already been completed. The (A) record for [] points to [], and having an (A) entry for [] shouldn't have any weight on that completely separate domain name, at least from a DNS stand point.

Because that IP address is pointing to another server that is not one of ours, I can't check the Apache configuration, or what else could possibly be causing a problem with it past that point. However it doesn't appear to be because of the DNS records from what I can gather at this time.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

- Jacob
