The Developer will write structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards. This position will write and/or revise program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards.
Perform research to problems, separating the symptoms from the actual cause, and identifies opportunities to correct the situation. Participate in the definition of functional and technical requirements for application software to develop skills and knowledge. In partnership with the end user/internal customer, test application software to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results.
The Developer may train user and operation’s staff and validate ability to use and run applications. Currently we have positions available in our VA and CA locations.
The Successful Candidate:
-2+ years development work experience
-Strong analytical skills
-Project management skills
-Skilled with back end programming languages
-Experience with development of automated customer processes and systems
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and/or applicable development work experience equivalent to 2 plus years. Experience with web hosting and hosting technologies is a plus. Computer proficiency with the ability to navigate through several computer applications. Strong analytical, creative thinking, strategic orientation, project management and presentation experience is required. PHP, Mysql, Perl and/or hands on experience with other back end programming languages is required.
