Great infographic. This is why I tell my customers to focus on two social media sites at a time and then add as they become more comfortable. It is getting hard to keep up with all these social media sites and most small business owners just don’t have the time to learn them all. Heck I have a hard time keeping up!
Hi Chris, I’m glad you found it useful, I understand where you come from on this, explaining stuff to clients is half the battle and certainly eats into unpaid work time. Hopefully the complexity of the chart will allow them to take some insight into what you do!
How is it that Facebook is not included in this mapping?
Well… These are tools the publish or connect TO the FB and Twitter APIs, Hence Twitter and FB are omitted. They are not on the map because these are the tools used to optimize the use of FB and Twitter. There are a few tools listed that connect to Facebook, note: Touchgraph, and many of the publishing clients, but there are many more that connect to Twitter.
